I know GigaSpaces very well and would agree that the product does certainly provide elastic capabilities via the use of it&#039;s unique SLA and Service Grid capabilities. In my post I was referring to pure play grid products such as Condor, Data Synapse etc. Hybrid products such as GigaSpaces that provide Grid, DataGrid, messaging and Application Server capabilities within the one product (and in this case one container) and that are cloud ready are certainly the future</description>

		<description>There seems to be a few cases where ppl are designing grid likwe architectures on top of the &quot;elastic&quot; capable clouds. Some cloud based grids are elastic already... Take a look at Gridgain and GigaSpaces.
